About Oklahoma

Oklahoma has 77 counties, 165 cities, 426 towns and 247 Census-designated communities, and about 4,123,288 people (2025 estimate) on 177,664 km² (68,596 sq mi) of land. Oklahoma City is both the capital and the largest city, with 719,849 people. It borders Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico and Texas.

Oklahoma County is the most populous county (822,125 people) and Cimarron County the least (2,059); Osage County is the largest by land area (5,819 km²) and Marshall County the smallest (962 km²).
