Populations are INE's official figures from the municipal register (Padrón) on 1 January 2025; the 45 municipalities add up to the community's 1,589,138, the sum of its provinces on the Spain map. Towns are the municipalities themselves, each at its capital, so a town's figure is its whole municipality.
