Free teacher resource
Printable maps of Morocco's regions, from Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima on the Strait of Gibraltar to Guelmim-Oued Noun on the edge of the Sahara. Morocco has had 12 regions since 2015; two of them, Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra and Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab, lie in Western Sahara, a disputed territory, so these maps number the ten regions to the north of it.

For teachers
Western Sahara is shaded grey and not numbered, as on the site's Africa maps. With ten regions, the label-it sheet joins an empty answer box to each one with a line. The capitals sheet marks the ten regional capitals, including Errachidia and Guelmim, which few pupils know.
On the label-it and capitals sheets, pupils write the names on the numbered lines – or, where there are ten places or fewer, in the empty answer box joined to each place; the labelled map doubles as a reference sheet. All sheets are crisp black line maps with light shading, so they photocopy and print cleanly in black and white.
