About Jamaica
Jamaica has 14 parishes and about 2,774,538 people (2022) on 10,956 km² (4,230 sq mi). Kingston is both the capital and the largest city, with 607,126 people.
St. Andrew is the most populous parish (583,717 people) and Hanover the least (69,780); St. Elizabeth is the largest by area (1,212 km²) and Kingston the smallest (27 km²).
