Every place to name is outlined on the map and marked with a dot. Type the names before the 1:00 timer runs out: each one you get is labelled on the map. You can leave out “Lake”: “Superior” is enough.

The list, the names and sources
Lakes Michigan and Huron meet at the Straits of Mackinac and are one lake as far as the water level goes, but they are always named separately.
You can leave out the generic word when the rest of the name is clear: “Mediterranean”, “Caspian”, “Bengal” and “Superior” all count. Other common names count too, such as the Sea of Cortez, Lake Nyasa or the Gulf of Siam.

Outlines come from Natural Earth (public domain): its 1:10m marine areas, 1:10m and 1:50m lakes and 1:50m countries. Where two seas meet, the line follows Natural Earth’s areas, which roughly follow the IHO limits; some seas, such as the Sargasso Sea, have no coast at all.
