Explore all sixteen regional capitals of Chile
This round covers Chile’s sixteen regions, including Ñuble and its capital Chillán. It uses modern region names rather than asking you to memorise the former Roman numerals. Begin with ten questions or choose all sixteen for a complete round.
Work down the country from Arica and Iquique through Copiapó and La Serena, then into central and southern Chile. Coquimbo’s regional capital is La Serena, O’Higgins uses Rancagua, and Maule uses Talca.
Tell neighbouring regions apart
Los Ríos and Los Lagos are easy to confuse: their capitals are Valdivia and Puerto Montt. Further south, Aysén uses Coyhaique and Magallanes uses Punta Arenas. The alternative spelling Coihaique is also accepted.
The outlines focus on continental Chile and nearby southern islands so that the capital markers remain readable; remote Pacific islands and Antarctic claims are not shown. Accents are optional when typing names such as Concepción, Chillán and Valparaíso.
