Learn Canada’s provincial and territorial capitals
Canada has ten provinces and three territories, each with its own capital. This quiz includes all thirteen, from Victoria in British Columbia to St. John’s in Newfoundland and Labrador, plus Whitehorse, Yellowknife and Iqaluit in the north.
Watch out for the familiar-city trap: Toronto is Ontario’s capital, but Vancouver is not British Columbia’s capital and Montreal is not Quebec’s. Ottawa is Canada’s national capital; Ontario’s provincial capital is Toronto.
How to play
Choose the capital for the province or territory shown. Switch to typed answers in the quiz settings for a tougher round. Accents are optional, and both “Quebec” and “Quebec City” are accepted. At the end, review missed answers or try all 13 capitals.
