Learn the capitals of Belgium’s ten provinces
Belgium has five provinces in Flanders and five in Wallonia. Brussels-Capital Region is outside the provinces, so Brussels is not an extra provincial-capital answer. A standard round includes all ten provincial capitals.
The two Brabant provinces have different capitals: Leuven for Flemish Brabant and Wavre for Walloon Brabant. Arlon is the capital of the Belgian province of Luxembourg—do not confuse the province with the neighbouring country. Belgium’s Limburg uses Hasselt; the Dutch province with the same name uses Maastricht.
Play with familiar Dutch, French and English city names
The quiz accepts Antwerp, Antwerpen or Anvers; Ghent, Gent or Gand; and Bruges or Brugge. You can also type Leuven or Louvain, Mons or Bergen, Liège or Luik, Namur or Namen, and Wavre or Waver.
Each outline shows a province rather than an entire Belgian region. The marker helps you locate its capital, and typed answers accept names without accents. After the results, practise missed capitals or replay the complete set to improve your score.
